The status of your most recent outgoing message will be displayed underneath the message bubble. To see more details long-press on a message bubble and select Info from the listed menu.
Sent indicates that your Signal message has been sent to our servers. If you see this, there is no issue with your phone.
Delivered indicates the message has been delivered to their device. Your contact will only get this message if their phone is online.
Messages are marked as read if both you and your contact have read receipts enabled.
What can I do if my Signal message was not delivered?
- You can wait until your contact has an internet connection and Signal can connect to the internet.
- If your contact uninstalled Signal, ask them to unregister their number.
- Make sure your contact has all the permissions enabled for iOS and has gone through this checklist for Android.
