Why is my device offline?
Signal can only be registered to one mobile device at a time. Did you register another device like an iPad with the same number? If the phone you want to work is always "offline" then you will have to uninstall and re-install Signal on your phone to re-register to bring it back online. At this point your iPad or other phone will go offline.
Can I use multiple devices?
Multiple mobile devices are not supported, but you can link Signal Desktop.
See steps below to get Signal back online on your iPhone.
- Go to your home screen and find the Signal app icon.
- Long-press on the Signal icon on your phone or iPad until it shakes.
- Tap the x on the top left corner of the app icon. This uninstalls Signal.
- Reinstall Signal on the phone you want to work from the iTunes store.
