Android

To view attachments for a chat:

1. Open a chat.
2. Tap the contact name to view chat settings.
3. Tap Shared media.
4. Select Media, Files, Audio, or All.
5. Select a file or swipe to navigate to one.
6. Tap Save.

To view attachments for all chats:

1. In Signal, tap your profile > Data and Storage > Manage storage > Review storage.
2. Select Media, Files, Audio, or All.
3. Tap and hold on an attachment.
4. Optional: Tap to select any other attachments or Select all.
5. Tap  Save and select Yes to save outside of Signal.

iOS

To view attachments for a chat:

1. Open a chat.
2. Tap the contact name to view chat settings.
3. Select All Media.
4. Choose the Media or Audio tab.
5. Select an image, gif, video, voice message, or audio file – or swipe to navigate to one.
6. Choose the share icon .
7. Select Save Image, Save Video, or Save Audio.

or

1. Open a chat.
2. Tap and hold on the media message.
3. Choose the share icon .
4. Select Save Items.

To view attachments for a chat:

1. Open a chat.
2. Select chat settings  > All media.
3. Choose the Media or Documents tab.
4. Select an image or file.
5. Select  Save. 
6. Confirm the file name and location and save.
