What's my Signal phone number?

Signal doesn't display your number prominently on the main screen, since it's designed around keeping your number private by default, but it's easy to find once you know where to look.

Android

1. Open Signal.
2. Tap your profile icon (top left).
3. Your phone number is shown there, along with your profile name and avatar.

iOS

1. Open Signal.
2. Tap your profile icon (top left).
3. Tap Settings.
4. Your phone number is shown there, along with your profile name and avatar.

Desktop

1. Open Signal Desktop.
2. Click the Settings icon.
3. Your phone number is shown there, along with your profile name and avatar.

By default, your phone number is not visible in your profile details page to people who don’t already have it saved. See our FAQ page on Phone Number Privacy and Usernames to change this setting to make it visible to everyone.
