Download and export a report of your Signal account data. This report does not include any messages or media. Because everything in Signal is end-to-end encrypted, the Signal Service never has access to any of your messages or attachments.
Download and Export Report
- On your phone, go to Signal Settings
> Account > Your account data.
- Select Export as TXT or Export as JSON > Export report > Export.
- Choose where to share the file.
Your report is generated only at the time of export and is not stored by Signal on your device.
